As we enter a new year, Grace United Church Weyburn is prayerfully inviting our community to begin 2026 grounded in God’s Word. Starting January 1st, 2026, we will be embarking on a year-long Bible Read-A-Thon, with the shared goal of reading through the entire Holy Bible together by completing daily readings.
This journey is not about speed or perfection, but about faithfulness, reflection, and growing closer to God through Scripture. As a congregation, we believe there is something powerful about reading the Bible together—even when we are doing so in our own homes and at our own pace. We trust that God speaks to each of us uniquely through His Word, and that sharing this experience as a community deepens our understanding and strengthens our faith.
Our minister and congregation warmly invite individuals, families, and churches across Weyburn and the surrounding area to take part. You are welcome to participate on your own, with your family, or as part of a church group. Whether this is your first time reading the Bible in its entirety or a practice you return to regularly, there is a place for you in this journey.
Throughout the year, we will offer opportunities for reflection and discussion as we walk this path together. We hope this shared commitment will foster meaningful conversations, mutual encouragement, and a renewed sense of connection with Christ and with one another. As we step into 2026, may we do so rooted in Scripture, guided by God’s love, and united as a community of faith.
